Chrome Extension · operated by Websoham
Last updated: 13 July 2026
This policy describes how Websoham (a Tequity company) ("Websoham", "we") handles data in PixelPeek. It supplements our general Privacy Policy. By using PixelPeek you agree to this policy.
PixelPeek lets designers and developers sample any colour on a page and measure spacing between elements. Sampling happens on-device; optional cloud palettes require a Websoham account.
Sampling and measuring run locally. If you opt into cloud sync, your email and saved palettes are stored to sync them across devices.
| Permission | Why PixelPeek needs it |
|---|---|
| activeTab | Sample colours/spacing on the page you are viewing when you invoke the tool. |
| storage | Keep your palette history on your device. |
We never sell user data. Synced data is stored with our infrastructure provider solely to deliver the sync feature.
Local data stays on your device. Synced data is deleted within 30 days of account deletion.
PixelPeek's use of information received from the extension complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use data only for the single purpose above; we do not sell it, do not use it for advertising or creditworthiness, and do not transfer it except to provide the product, comply with law, or protect against security threats.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, and you may withdraw consent for optional features at any time. Contact privacy@websoham.com.
We will update the "last updated" date above when this policy changes and, for material changes, notify users where appropriate.
