How Websoham handles data across our website, browser extensions, and SaaS products.
Last updated: 13 July 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Websoham (a Tequity company) ("Websoham", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our website, browser extensions, and SaaS products (the "Services"). Each product also has its own summary — see per-product practices below. We are the data controller for the information described here.
We aim to collect as little as possible. Depending on the product, we may process:
Several of our extensions process data entirely on your device and send us nothing at all. Where that is the case, it is stated in the product's summary below.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Our use of information received from our Chrome extensions complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Specifically, for each extension we:
Where the GDPR applies, we process data on the basis of contract (to deliver a Service you requested), legitimate interests (to secure and improve the Services), consent (for optional features), and legal obligation.
We share data only with service providers that help us run the Services (for example, hosting, authentication, and payment processing), under contracts that require them to protect it. We may disclose data if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and the Services. We do not sell data to third parties.
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize associated personal data within 30 days, except where we must retain it to meet a legal obligation. On-device data is removed when you clear it or uninstall the extension.
We use encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege practices to protect data. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and to notify you and regulators of incidents where required.
We may process data in countries other than yours. Where we transfer personal data internationally, we use appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. California residents have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. To exercise any right, email privacy@websoham.com.
The Services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
Our website uses only essential cookies needed to operate it. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
