Chrome Extension · operated by Websoham
Last updated: 13 July 2026
This policy describes how Websoham (a Tequity company) ("Websoham", "we") handles data in TabTidy. It supplements our general Privacy Policy. By using TabTidy you agree to this policy.
TabTidy groups, suspends, and restores browser tabs so your window stays fast and readable. Everything runs locally in your browser — no account, no sync server.
Tab and session data is stored locally only, to provide the grouping and restore features. It never leaves your device.
| Permission | Why TabTidy needs it |
|---|---|
| tabs | Read tab titles/URLs to group and restore them. |
| storage | Save your sessions locally on your device. |
We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share any user data with anyone.
Data lives in your browser until you delete it or uninstall the extension.
TabTidy's use of information received from the extension complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use data only for the single purpose above; we do not sell it, do not use it for advertising or creditworthiness, and do not transfer it except to provide the product, comply with law, or protect against security threats.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, and you may withdraw consent for optional features at any time. Contact privacy@websoham.com.
We will update the "last updated" date above when this policy changes and, for material changes, notify users where appropriate.
